News WRC 4 gameplay trailer takes us through Germany’s winding roads

Milestone have released the second official gameplay run-through of WRC 4, this time taking us on a tour of the narrow winding roads that make up the Rallye Deutschland stage which we last saw at Gamescom in our exclusive hands-on.
Once again, current WRC leader's Volkswagen Polo R WRC is featured, but the video really serves to showcase the new lighting conditions. In this run, the stage is set during hte sunset, allowing Milestone's work on the lighting and reflections to to adapt accordingly.

The trailer also allows us to sample WRC 4's new improved engine sound effects, and the difference to WRC 3 is immediately apparent. To test its authenticity, our friends over at Greekfans WRCgame put together an audio comparison video between WRC 4's Volkswagen Polo R and its real life counterpart. While it still needs some tweaking, it's furhter proof that Milestone are one step closer to creating the WRC game that fans have long been requesting.
