Some four months after the original Redout announcement trailer came to light, developer 34BigThings have released a second “announcement” trailer which showcases the further development of the title.
34BigThings stated that the original trailer didn't reflect the state of the game at the time and were keen to showcase their upcoming racer Redout in all its current glory. Check out Redout's beautiful environments in the revamped announcement trailer below.
Redout will feature a career mode which will see you progressing up the ranks as you upgrade your hovership. The game has a powerup system which includes many upgrades to give you a tactical advantage during the race such as the Enhanced Protection Shield System (EPSS).
There's 25 racetracks split among 5 environments and 7 event types in all including time attack, survival and last man standing. You can chose between 5 racing teams, each having their own advantages and disadvantages. Redout will also have AI and local multiplayer up to 4 players for some intense action.
Redout is currently scheduled to launch in quarter 4, 2015 and will be available for the PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4 platforms.
