We had a very good idea it was coming, thanks to the countdown on the official Project CARS social media pages, and sure enough developer Slightly Mad Studios has released the first official Project CARS 2 trailer which can be seen below.
The trailer does include some footage we've seen before in the supposed leaked trailer from before including rallycorss racing and snow covered tracks, but does include a number of new sequences which reveal a number of new cars and locations. Project CARS 2 will not only simulate dynamic times of day, but seasonal changes also which is seen in the trailer.
Last month Slightly Mad Studios CEO Ian Bell posted on the official Project CARS forum stating a tentative release window of “September-ish”, the trailer above however states "late 2017" so its possible the release could be slightly later than originally thought.
All going well we'll have some preview footage of Project CARS 2 very shortly so keep your eyes peeled for that. For now let us know in the comments your feelings and hopes for the title and what you made of the official trailer above.
