While trawling through the exciting E3 show-floor we were surprised to find The Crew available to play on a triple screen with a wheel – a swanky setup normally reserved for high-end racing titles.
Indeed, f the handling from Driver: San Francisco is anything to go by i'm not entirely convinced The Crew will lend itself too well on a wheel – Driver San Francisco's was notoriously tail-happy, and it was for this reason that Ubisoft Reflections decided not to implement wheel support.
Still, that's not to say The Crew won't be fun to play on a wheel regardless. At this stage it's certainly far from being a simulation, but it looks more stable than that of Driver and therefore easier to handle, whilst the wheel heightens the frantic nature of the high speed open city chases.
Likewise, playing on a triple screen looks incredibly immersive and ideal for The Crew's team-based gameplay, allowing you to view your buddies beside you with ease.
