Volkswagen has teased a possible announcement date for its upcoming 'Vision Gran Turismo' car for Gran Turismo 6.
The Volkswagen Vision GTI (also referred to as the "Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo" on the official Gran Turismo website) is the fourth car designed as part of the Vision Gran Turismo initiative to be officially confirmed, and is expected to be revealed in full next week on May 23rd.
Judging by the car's name and the prominence of Golf GTI models in Volkswagen's teaser trailer for the car, it's highly likely the Vision GTI concept will either be a far fetched interpretation of a Golf GTI, or be heavily inspired by the seven prior generations of the fabled hot hatchback.
Whilst the complete design of the Volkswagen Vision GTI is yet to be known at time of writing, the brief glimpses at sketches and CAD designs in the trailer suggests it will heavily resemble the car featured in Volkswagen's placeholder mock-up image on the official Gran Turismo website.//www.youtube.com/embed/S7XzavG07-I
