News Visual tyre wear spotted in GT Sport

A GT Sport player recently recorded the title's visual tyre wear effects which make for some interesting viewing.
GTPlanet member “GordonS” took three images of the visual effect on a Lamborghini Huracan (running on an oval) which is seen in the following stages:
- Fresh tyre (no wear)
- Two laps old
- Fifteen laps old
Interestingly, the player noted that tyre wear was set to off in the event where the images were taken, nevertheless you can clearly see signs of obvious progressive tyre wear with blistering and marbles in the screenshots above.
Whether or not this level of visual detail extends to the actual tyre model is probably very unlikely, but it can only be a good thing that at least visually, Polyphony are developing this kind of attention to detail which could well correlate to tyre wear in future titles.
