It may still be in the beta phase, but that doesn't mean external 'mods' can't be implemented into rFactor 2 during its development phase. On the contrary, quite a few dev teams across the world have been adding their bits 'n bobs to the beta, with the latest addition being courtesy of Virtua_LM.
Virtua_LM is already a well-known name in the rFactor mod community – they've released plenty of cars for the original game, and recently released the well-recieved Mid-Ohio circuit – and now, the team of devs and testers have finished their version of the iconic Sebring track.
Based mostly on the original rFactor version, Virtua_LM have converted it for worthy use in rFactor 2, to make it compatible with all the new changes and features the beta brings, with the most notable new addition being the implementation of a 'track maker' tool.
