WRC 8 will release across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in a matter of days now, September 5 (not forgetting the Switch release in October), and so our excitement levels are growing tremendously.
Rather than diving into any one of the fourteen rallies on offer we have recently been having some fun with the newly added training courses which feature a wide array of different configurations and environmental challenges.
We’ve split our training courses videos into four parts to reflect the four segments of the training courses which range from A – D.
The first set of training courses (A) have as many as 10 different layouts. Rather than go full throttle around them, we decided to cruise around at first to learn the tracks before letting rip with the loud pedal.
As we get further into the different configurations, the challenge begins to change – one particular circuit included some very tight turns which required the car to “donut” to get around thanks to judicious use of the handbrake.
You can see how we got on with the first of our four-part training courses videos for WRC 8 below.
