News V-Rally 4’s latest DLC car boasts 680bhp thanks to 2 electric motors

V-Rally 4‘s latest piece of DLC has emerged on the PlayStation and Xbox Stores (curiously not on Steam at the time of writing).
The Volkswagen I.D.R Pikes Peak vehicle can hit 62 mph from a standstill in a heart-pounding 2.2 seconds thanks to not one, but two electric motors boasting 250KW (that’s 680 bhp) of power.
The vehicle was built purely to break the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb record – and that’s exactly what it did. French driver Romain Dumas beat the record held by none other than Sebastien Loeb (you may have heard of him) and became the first person in history to lap the world-famous hill climb in less than 8 minutes.
The Volkswagen I.D.R Pikes Peak is available to purchase for £3.19 and 3.29 on the Xbox Store and PlayStation Store respectively. You can read our review for V-Rally 4 here.
