Ever since it was first announced back in March, we’ve known V-Rally 4 will be sliding onto consoles and PC this September, but we didn’t know the exact release date – until now. Mark your calendars, because BigBen Games has confirmed V-Rally 4 will be released on September 6th for PS4 and Xbox One and September 25th for PC. A Nintendo Switch version will follow at a later unspecified date.
Developed by Kylotonn Racing, the French developer behind the relentlessly tense bike racer TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge, V-Rally 4 marks the first game in the series for over 15 years. Five disciplines will feature, including a traditional Rally mode, Buggy, Hillclimb, V-Rally Cross, and Extreme-Khana, which will be Kylotonn’s take on Gymkhana.
To celebrate the announcement, we’ve teamed up with BigBen Games to release a new gameplay video showcasing the Romanian Hillclimb based on a beta version of the game. Trust us, throwing these powerful purpose-built hillclimb cars around narrow high-altitude tracks in wet conditions isn’t for the faint of heart.
