Game: Truck Driver

Platform: PC, PS4, XBox One

Publisher: SOEDESCO

Release Date: 2020 (PC version)

SOEDESCO has announced they have changed developer for Truck Driver. The new collaboration with the Brazilian-based development studio Kokku will enable them to continue work on Truck Driver which saw its release last month across the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles (a PC version will follow on November 11).

The main focus for Kokku right now is fixing the remaining issues. After this has been achieved, the new developer will work on much-requested elements including “map expansion, traffic, more trucks, better AI, and more”.

Development studio Kokku has experience working on triple-A titles such as Horizon Zero Dawn, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, and Gears of War. Hans van Brakel, Executive Manager at SOEDESCO stated, “Kokku shares the same vision we have and they are committed to making that a reality. This move will expand the opportunities for Truck Driver on the long term.”

Thiago de Freitas, CEO of Kokku commented, “We’re beyond excited to join forces with SOEDESCO for Truck Driver. We’re going to bring our expertise as a AAA developer to meet community expectations and deliver the experience they deserve. It’s going to be a long journey together so, make sure to fasten your seat belt and enjoy the ride!
