News Truck Driver is making a stop on PS4, Xbox One & PC

A new trucking sim imaginatively titled “Truck Driver” is heading “soon” to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Truck Driver put you in the shoes of a budding…err…truck driver who has just inherited their Uncle’s truck and then decided to move to a new city to make a name for themselves and earn the respect of the local community.

Truck Driver features a seamless open world, which will see you connect with a variety of people across different industries as you do your best to make your uncle proud as a fully fledged (you guessed it) truck driver.

You can view the very first gameplay reveal in the new trailer (no pun intended) below.

In the career mode, you’ll take on different jobs to earn cash which can be used to customise your trucks with “tons” of different parts which can alter both the look and performance. Progressing through the career will enable you to unlock skills and rewards which result in useful enhancements such as improved tyre durability or the ability to drive longer without having to rest.

The game is expected to launch “soon” and a price point of €39.99 has been announced for the console versions. You can view the latest screenshots below. It’s time to truck!
