Truck Driver has had a successful first week of sales debuting in 11th spot in this week’s UK charts.
Truck Driver released late last week across the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles (with a PC version to follow on November 11).
Truck driving games on the consoles are a rarity these days and given the ever-growing fan base of truck driving games on the PC market, we had a sneaky suspicion Truck Driver would enjoy some strong sales.
The game puts you in the shoes of a person who has just inherited their uncle’s truck to start your delivery business. Completing delivery jobs enables you to earn the trust of the local residents, which helps you obtain even more work. Truck Driver offers a wide range of cargo to transport, and its open-world features a diverse landscape and a number of different towns.
Elsewhere this week, Mario Kart Deluxe climbs as high as position three (three places higher than last week), Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled remains in the top ten, and Forza Horizon 3 re-enters the top twenty in 20th place.
