For those of you that can’t wait until next year to play Trials Rising, we have some good news for you: developer Redlynx will hold a closed beta later this year.
The beta will be held between September 13-16 and will be available across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. You can put your name into the hat on the official website, good luck.
Trials Rising takes the series back to its roots after the very experimental, and ultimately disappointing, Trials of the Blood Dragon. The title will also see a release on the Nintendo Switch when the game launches in February 2019.
Trials Rising will feature “more tracks than ever before” taking players on a world tour “from the Eiffel Tower to the Great Wall of China”, with environments such as canyons, cities, and forests. A new “Tandem Bike” mode will also feature in the multiplayer mode where two players each contribute half of the power and balance, seems like a recipe for disaster (in a good way) to us.
