News Thrustmaster unveil 599XX EVO 30 Wheel Add-On Alcantara Edition

A new wheel rim has joined Thrustmaster's ever-expanding ecosystem: the (deep breath) 599XX EVO 30 Wheel Add-On Alcantara Edition.
Based on the Ferrari 599XX EVO, the add-on is wrapped in authentic high quality Alcantara – the same material used on Ferrari wheels often used by Fanatec.
Measuring at 11.8”/30 cm in diameter as an 8:10 replica of the Ferrari wheel, it's noticabely larger than the T300, which puts it in T500 territory.
As is standard on most Thrustmaster wheel rims, the 599XX EVO sports a brushed metal central plate, wheel-mounted paddle shifters and a quick release system allowing you to mount it on a number of existing Thrustmaster peripherals with detachable wheels including the T500 RS, Ferrari F1 Integral T500, T300 RS, T300 Ferrari GTE, TX Racing Wheel Ferrari 458 Italia Edition.
The Thrustmaster T300 GTE is a fantastic wheel I would easily recommend to any racing game enthusiast, but I've always had two main gripes: the cheap-feeling rubber coating and its small size compared to the T500. The 599XX addresses both of these issues, with better quality materials and a more realistic size edging it towards Fanatec's high-end market.
The 599XX EVO 30 Wheel Add-On Alcantara Edition will be available in Q4 2015 at the suggested retail price of $179.99
