The release of Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition will take the vast majority of the racing game spotlight today, however, there is yet another anticipated racer that saw its release today: Dakar 18.
Available now (two weeks later than expected) across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Dakar 18 aims to be a realistic simulation of the biggest cross-country rally raid in the world.
Dakar 18 represents the sport by including the major official Dakar teams, vehicles and drivers across its five racing class categories: Cars, Bikes, Trucks, Quads, and SxS.
Take a look at the launch trailer below.
Time of day and weather are also simulated and change during a race to provide a constantly changing challenge as you take on the likes of sand, mud, and water while looking to maintain your vehicle’s health by taking the path of least resistance.
Besides the single-player content, Dakar 18 also features online multiplayer and 2-player split screen support.
