Dusenberry Martin Racing (DMR) has released their fourth developer diary for their upcoming racer NASCAR Heat Evolution, this time around tracks become the focus.
The developers talk us through the process of bringing a real-world track to the virtual medium which includes hiring photographers to obtain thousand of reference pictures. Indeed every single inch of the track gets snapped which helps the dev team in terms of really getting to know the look and scale of the track.
NASCAR Heat Evolution features 23 official NASCAR tracks that have all been painstakingly recreated by DMR to look and feel as realistic as possible. All tracks are tested by a single person to make sure all of the tracks feel and look spot on, no pressure then.
