Ubisoft has officially confirmed a November 11th release date for its upcoming 'CarPG' racing game, The Crew.
First revealed during Ubisoft's press conference at this year's E3 trade show, the November 11th date puts The Crew in a mildly congested launch window for racing games: the PS4-exclusive DriveClub is currently scheduled for an October 10th release, whilst Slightly Mad Studios has committed to a November retail debut for Project CARS.
The Ubisoft E3 presser also confirmed a forthcoming closed beta for The Crew, which is expected to begin on July 23rd later this year. No details on which platforms the beta will run on have been confirmed at time of writing, but users can register for the closed test here "for a limited time only, while beta codes last".
