News The Crew 2’s first major update ‘Gator Rush’ coming next month

The Crew 2‘s first major free update will be arriving on September 26 across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. Entitled “Gator Rush”, the update introduces the new hovercraft discipline along with some other additions.

A total of three hovercraft vehicles (which can be seen in action below) complete the new line-up. These new hovercrafts will battle it out across the sprawling USA map thanks to areas which have been redesigned especially for the new vehicle discipline, so expect a fair amount of steep slopes and banked curves in certain places.

Besides additional events, a Live Xtrem Series race and free drive options will be available to the player. That’s not all though: a new “Ace mode” difficulty level will be added which gives those brave enough a chance to obtain some sweet legendary loot and exclusive bonuses.

Furthermore, on September 26, season pass owners will get seven days early access to two new additional vehicles as part of the game’s monthly vehicle drop.

The free Gator Rush update is the first of many major updates for The Crew 2. Those looking forward to PvP content will have to wait until December, but we’ll no doubt see new disciplines, events, vehicles and much more in the months to come.
