Kunos Simulazioni’s Marco Massarutto has confirmed that the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio will be joining Assetto Corsa in 2017. Massarutto confirmed the news on FaceBook, but hasn't disclosed an exact date.
The addition of Alfa's speedy saloon shouldn't come as a surprise since Assetto Corsa already has an assortment of Alfas in its car selection. It's also no coincidence that Kunos Simulazioni is an Italian developer.
First introduced last year as Alfa's answer to the BMW M3, the RWD Giulia Quadrifoglio is powered by a 505-hp, twin-turbo V-6 engine with an eight-speed automatic gearbox or six-speed manual gearbox and a 0 – 60mph time in 3.9 seconds.
To date, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio hasn't featured in a racing game, unless of course it's set to appear in an upcoming Forza Horizon 3 car pack. With its unmatched simulation physics, Assetto Corsa will no doubt provide the most authentic driving experience to experience the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio.
