Welcome to another episode of the Team VVV Podcast for all your weekly racing game rambles.
In our most recent episode, our resident Formula One fanatic Tim Goodchild joins the team to discuss the latest Gran Turismo Sport beta update. Weighing in at a whopping 10GB, the update featured improvements to the game’s physics and force feedback but no new content to justify the file size, which makes us wonder if Sony is holding something major back.
Elsewhere, after months of radio silence, we discuss some recently revealed details about Isle of Man TT: Ride on the Edge, which will apparently feature a painstaking recreation of the iconic circuit featuring every house, tree and traffic light.
PS4 players have been waiting patiently for the iconic futuristic racing series WipEout to make a comeback, and now their prayers are being answered with WipEout: Omega Collection which recently went gold ahead of its release this June. We’re all dedicated fans of the series, and while we can’t help but wish it wasn’t a rehash of older games in the series, we’re hoping it will be successful enough to pave the way for a future sequel.
