News TeamVVV.com Weekly Racing Video Game News Episode 16: Recycled Relics

For all the news in racing games this week, don't miss the TeamVVV.com weekly round-up.

Yes, it's that time of the month again: this week's most notable racing game news story was the release of yet another 10 car DLC pack for Forza Motorsport 5. Too bad the majority of it was recycled relics from Forza 4, much to the dismay of the internet. 

Compare this to the release of the coveted Koenigsegg One:1, the speedy Sweedish supercar unveiled at this week's Geneva motorshow that's already being touted as the fastest road car in the world , for Need for Speed: Rivals free of charge. It's a welcome gesutre, given the extortinate cost of the previous DLC packs.

Elsewhere, we had yet more DriveClub release rumours, a subject that has become a weekly feature in itself. Word on the street now suggests we will be burning some next generation rubber in April, after an alleged Tweet from the developers slipped out. Fingers crossed.  

Then we finally had confirmation on when we'll be able to mow down pedestrians like it's 1997 all over again in Carmageddon Reincarnation, the belated comeback of the controversial combat series: Carmageddon Reincarnation will be available on Steam Early Access from March 27th.

On the PC racing front, we had some new previews of the BMW Z4 GT3 and Circuit of the Americas due for release in iRacing this April and the latest fortnightly update for Assetto Corsa adding the Nurburgring GP and the Lotus Type 125 Single Seater.
