Welcome to another episode of the Team VVV Video Podcast for all your weekly racing game rambles.

This week we react to the reveal of Milestone's MotoGP 17, which will be riding onto consoles this June. Yes, we'll soon have yet another Milestone motorcycle game not long after the release of Ride 2 and the upcoming MXGP 3, but unlike those games, MotoGP 17 will run at a silky smooth 60fps, much to Alan's delight.

Elsewhere, you'll be able to play Gran Turismo Sport sooner than you thought thanks to a new closed beta that's currently underway – providing you live in the US, that is. We really do try to say positive things about Gran Turismo Sport, but Polyphony doesn't make it easy sometimes.

At this point, Project CARS 2 is looking like one of our most anticipated racing games of the year with its advanced dynamic weather, comprehensive track selection and a car selection that focuses on racing machines rather than road cars unlike its competitors, including the recent reveal of some classic Nissan race cars

While the spotlight is currently on the Nintendo Switch console, its launch lineup has been disappointing. Fortunately, that's about to change, as new details have been revealed about Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which will soon be racing onto the Switch. Because you can't have a Nintendo console without an obligatory Mario Kart title.

Rocket League also continues to be the gift that keeps on giving, with the news of yet another free new mode being added which will introduce breakable floors.

Thanks as always for listening, and don't forget to keep sending in your questions for the Q&A.
