Welcome to another episode of the Team VVV Video Podcast for all your weekly racing game rambles.

This week, DiRT Rally, one of last year’s most white-knuckle racing game experiences, got even more intense for PS4 players with the release of the PSVR update, which added new levels of immersion. It was a welcome release for players deprived of any major PSVR racing game releases other than DriveClub VR and the TrackMania Turbo update. We discuss our expectations for DiRT Rally’s PSVR update, with full impressions to follow in next week’s podcast. In the meantime, you can find out Kevin’s initial impressions.

Console players of Assetto Corsa can finally enjoy the third and final Porsche Pack, while PC players got a new free track and car in the form of the new Highlands track and Audi Quattro S1 E2. Find out what Ed thought of the new fictional track, as he gives us his initial impressions.

We also talk about Alan’s favourite subject – frame rate. A recent firmware update added a new Boost Mode to the PS4 Pro, which has had a significant effect on racing game frame rates to the point that Assetto Corsa can now be enjoyed at a locked 60fps. But is it enough to convince us to buy a PS4 Pro when none of us have a 4K TV?

Elsewhere, we react to the news that Forza is now a billion dollar franchise and discuss the newly released MX Nitro which looks like a promising alternative to Trials.

Thanks as always for listening, and don’t forget to send us your questions for the weekly Q&A.
