News Team VVV exclusive: V-Rally 4 hillclimb gameplay

We’ve covered V-Rally 4 extensively with our previews looking at several of the title’s disciplines including Rally, Extreme-Khana, V-Rallycross, and Buggy. Today we feature the fifth and final discipline: Hillclimb.
Sticking with our Thrustmaster Sparco R383 Rally Rim and triple screen setup, we take on the short hill climb configuration of the US location.
The Hill climb discipline plays out very different compared to other disciplines in V-rally 4 in that you will be applying maximum throttle for large portions of the event, only coming off the gas for the lesser bends and hitting the brakes for the tighter bends.
Despite the high-speed nature of Hill Climb, the action is very intuitive thanks to tight controls which are backed up by decent force feedback through the racing wheel. Take a look at the action below.
V-Rally 4 will be climbing (sorry) onto the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in September, with a Switch version to follow.
