News Switch version of GRID Autosport coming this Summer

Nintendo has just hosted its February 2019 Direct presentation giving us lots of new tidbits of info on upcoming Switch games.
One such game to rear its head was GRID Autosport complete with some new gameplay (seen below starting at the 28:33 mark) and a release window of Summer 2019.
The Switch version of GRID Autosport will include all previously released DLC content which equates to 100 cars and 100 tracks. The Switch version will also contain motion controls and custom controls. Additionally, online multiplayer and two-player split screen modes are supported.
GRID Autosport, the third title in the GRID series by Codemasters, released across the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in June 2014 – some seven months after the release of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

Seen more of a spinoff than a traditional sequel, GRID Autosport focuses on providing an authentic motorsport experience giving players the chance to drive the world’s most exciting high-performance cars.
Realistic racers are somewhat absent from Nintendo’s latest console library making this title a particularly interesting and perhaps important addition.
We’ll no doubt get a release date announcement in the coming weeks.
