News Super GT-themed Sega World Drivers Championship arcade title revealed

Sega has released the first details on its upcoming Super GT-themed arcade racing game.
Titled 'Sega World Driver's Championship 2018 feat. Super GT', the new arcade game is currently being trialled in a pair of Sega-owned arcade centres in Japan – ahead of a presumed release in 2018.
Content-wise, Sega World Driver's Championship will contain three circuits organised in a championship-esque structure. Players will also have access to 45 different cars, with 35 of them representing the vehicles and teams currently participating in the Super GT series' GT300 and GT500 classes
Feeding back into the aforementioned championship-style event layout, Sega World Driver's Championship has an emphasis on larger-scale multiplayer racing. Depending the on the number of available cabinets, up to 10 players will be able to participate in the same series – with the overall winner being whoever accumulated the most championship points over the three races.
At time of writing, it's unknown when the retail-ready version of Sega World Driver's Championship will be released, or if the cabinet will be officially sold outside of its native Japan.
