New stunning screenshots for Milestone's new rally IP Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo have emerged, showcasing the dusty trials of the Australian WRC.
Taken from Eurogamer Italy, the screenshots have yet to be officially released, curiously.
Notably, the work-in-progress screenshots finally show a rally car being put through its paces after previous screenshots focused on the barren stages – but before you get too excited, the Red Bull Citroen DS3 WRC featured is based on old assets from a previous championship, so the car model on display is not representative of the final game or indeed this year's WRC liveries. Presumably, Milestone are still designing the car models after waiting for the liveries to be finalised, which would explain why we haven't seen any in-game screenshots or videos yet.
Again, what we've seen so far looks promising – the detail on display is certainly a step up from previous Milestone games which have been lacking in environmental detail (the trees and trackside vegetation look particularly realistic). They also appear to have made more effort to increase the accuary of the stages, which was a common complaint in preivous WRC games.
Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo is set to slide into stores this Autumn on PS4. Xbox One and PC alongside WRC 5.
Are you happy with how the stages are shaping up so far?
