News Slightly Mad Studios confirms Mercedes-Benz licence for Project CARS

Project CARS developers Slightly Mad Studios has confirmed a new manufacturer will be officially represented in the title: Mercedes Benz.

Having already rendered a sans-logo SLS render in the closed pre-alpha build, the London-based studio will now be able to officially include the German supercar in the game.

What's more, eight other Mercedes road and race cars have also been included as part of the licencing deal, which goes as follows:

1990 190E 2.5-16 Evolution 2 DTM

2012 SLS AMG GT3

2012 C-Class Coupe DTM

No official or estimated release dates were referenced by Slightly Mad Studios, though we expect them to be gradually added to the pre-alpha demo in the coming weeks and months through the frequent builds and updates for the title.
