Sony Computer Entertainment has finally announced a concrete release date for Gran Turismo 6's upcoming Senna DLC.
As stated on the official PlayStation Blog, the commemorative content will be released exclusivley for Gran Turismo 6 in a fortnight's time on May 27th.
More details regarding the specifics of the 'Senna Tribute' content: a specific 'Ayrton Senna' dealership will be added to the game, allowing players to purchase the 1985 Lotus 97T F1 car and Senna's DAP racing kart once their in-game bank balance is topped up enough.
A pair of 'Senna Challenges' will also be included in the game, which task players with beating Senna's pole position lap times around the Eighties-spec Monza and Brands Hatch circuits, of 1:25.084 and 1:07.169 respectivley. Those who are able to match or better the 'Bronze' time requirements for the Senna Challenges will be automatically gifted the 97T Formula One car for use in the game.
It's currently unknown at this moment in time whether any more 'Senna Tribute' content and game modes – beyond what's already been mentioned – will be added to Gran Turismo 6 in just under a fortnight's time.
