Assetto Corsa developer Kunos Simulazioni has confirmed an all-new partnership with the RSR Nurburg racing school.
Though Kunos has revealed the deal with RSR Nurburg will be used "in different ways", the primary role of this collaboration at the moment is to use RSR's team and facilities to further refine Assetto Corsa's physics simulation.
For example, RSR Nurburg's driving instructors have been used to increase the accuracy of Assetto Corsa's laser-scanned Nurburgring Nordschleife route, and ensure players have the exact same visual references that real-life racing drivers use when tackling the 'Green Hell'.
RSR's support will also be extended to other tracks, such as Spa-Francorchamps and the Vallelunga circuit. A "professional simulator" running Assetto Corsa will also be installed at RSR Nurburg's headquarters, allowing the instructors to offer even more feedback on the the title's physics simulation and racing circuit modelling.
