It's a testament to just how much influence Rockstar Games has on the games industry when simply posting a teaser image can practically make the internet implode. But that's exactly what happened this week when Rockstar Games released some mysterious artwork out of the blue with no explanation. Of course, it didn't take long for fans to recognise the artwork from Red Dead Redemption, which sent the internet into a frenzy with the possibility of a new Red Dead Redemption game about to be announced.
Sure enough, a few days later Rockstar announced Red Dead Redemption 2 for PS4 and Xbox One as the sequel to their fabled open world western. Following the announcement came the release of a short but sweet teaser trailer showcasing the first gameplay footage.
Details are thin on the ground other than an autumn 2017 release window and the following synopsis:

As you would expect for a Rockstar Games production, the game already looks like a stunning recreation of the wild west and appears to be running on the same RAGE engine that powered GTA V. Now can we get a sequel to Bully please, Rockstar?
