Announced a couple of weeks ago, Rocket League's next DLC pack entitled “Revenge of the Battle-Cars” will be launching on October 13.

The new DLC pack contains two old cars (Scarab and Zippy) from its predecessor SARPBC (that's Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, bet you're glad you asked, right?). Developer Psyonix recently stated that bringing old cars to Rocket League was one of the highest requested features that fans wanted to see.

The two new cars will have six decals each and three new paint types, two new sets of wheels, two new boost trails, two antennas, four new toppers and five additional trophies to keep you busy.

New variants of existing maps are said to launching alongside the new DLC pack. These were announced as night and dusk variants of the Urban Central and Utopia maps respectively.

These two variants are the last of the standard shaped maps that will be released for awhile making way for more interestingly shaped maps which should really shake up the action. Whether or not these non standard shaped maps will be playable in Ranked matches however is anyone's guess.

The Revenge of the Battle-Cars DLC pack will launch on October 13 and cost £3.29/ $3.99/ €3.99, you can check out all of the content of the pack at a glance below.
