News Rocket League hits 1 million sales milestone on Steam

The very popular soccer and rocket cars sports game Rocket League has just hit the 1 million sales milestone on Steam proving that its popularity extends beyond the Playstation 4 console version.
To celebrate the achievement Psyonix are currently holding a Rocket League sale on Steam which grants you a 10% discount, now yours for £13.49. You'll need to be quick however as the special promotion ends 6pm tomorrow, August 29.
At the end of July it was announced that Rocket League sales across the Playstation 4 and PC platforms exceeded 5 million. According to Steamspy at the time, Steam sales weighed in at the 500,000 mark, half of what it is today just one month later.
Rocket League sales will not be slowing down either with the announcement earlier this month that developer Psyonix are keen to port the sports title to other platforms which will almost certainly mean Xbox One owners will get the chance to play the game finally at some point.
