Psyonix have announced that the sports “soccar” title Rocket League has impressively surpassed the 5 million download mark after launching just three weeks ago.
This figure was only made possible by Rocket League's inclusion into the free Playstation Plus games for July. According to Steamspy, around 500,000 copies of Rocket League have been sold on Steam, leaving the vast majority of downloads belonging to Playstation 4 users not surprisingly.
Even so, it's a great achievement for Psyonix and the game is proving very popular with many gamers (even those that don't like soccer). To celebrate the milestone Psyonix have released a second image (below) of the upcoming Utopia Coliseum map which will be given out soon for free (as is the case for all future maps too).
