News Road and race-spec Ford GT confirmed for Project CARS 2

Project CARS 2 developer Slightly Mad Studios has confirmed the road and race versions of the Ford GT supercar will be featured in the multi-platform racing game.
Previously only accessible in Forza Motorsport 6 and Forza Horizon 3 as DLC, the Ford GT GTLM will also be making its first on-disc appearance in a racing game via Project CARS 2.
Though the Ford GT road car currently has few announced in-game competitors, the Ford GT GTLM fleshes out an already sizeable GT racing car roster in Project CARS 2 – including the Acura NSX GT3, Chevrolet Corvette C7.R, Ferrari 488 GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 R that race alongside the Ford GT GTLM in the IMSA-sanctioned WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
More content reveals for Project CARS 2 will almost certainly continue be made in the weeks and months building up to the game's release later this year.
