Sony has revealed the full lineup for its PlayStation Classic – confirming a selection of driving-based games will be preloaded onto the mini console.

Of the three driving titles, the only ‘pure’ racing game is Ridge Racer Type 4. Released five years after the original Ridge Racer arcade game, Ridge Racer Type 4 is cited by some to be a big step forward for the franchise, thanks to its array of content, impressive visuals and series-first split screen mode.

    Combat driving games are well represented on the PlayStation Classic too. As well as the cult classic Twisted Metal, the original Destruction Derby is also one of the games included with the system.

    The PlayStation Classic is a scaled-down version of the iconic games console from 1994, complete with two full-sized modernised versions of the original PlayStation controller.

    Sony is currently accepting pre-orders for the PlayStation Classic, with the console set to go on general sale from 3rd December 2018 for £89.99.
