Rumours have been rife this week that Milestone's new bike IP Ride will miss its target release date next week. However, we can now confirm that the rumours were right: originally set to launch off the line on March 20th next week, Milestone have now confirmed that Ride has been delayed by one week, with a revised release date set for March 27th.
It's a small, yet significant delay, pitting it perilously close to the racing game juggernaught that is Project CARS out a week later on April 2nd. Ironically, Milestone probably breathed a sigh of relief when Project CARS was pushed back two weeks, as both titles were originally set to collide on March 20th, but now the gap has been narrowed once again.
It also just so happens that Ride won't be the only motorcycle game out that day, either. According to Amazon, Kylotonn Game's MotorCycle Club is also due to ride out on March 27th, but this date keeps slipping so it's difficult to judge its validity.

Edit: An announcement on FaceBook has confirmed a playable demo for Ride will be released on March 18th for PS4 and PC, with an Xbox One demo released a few days after. The developer stated they decided to delay Ride to "refine the final quality of the game and assure players all the best from RIDE experience."
