Another new Ride-related video has landed showcasing a previously unseen countryside circuit set in North Wales.
While previous Ride videos have only shown a lone rider, this represents our first look at a race against multiple AI opponents. Shame the framerate doesn't appear to be holding up, although the YouTube video compression probably isn't doing it any favours.
We also get a look at the various viewpoints available in Ride, from the standard third and first person camera, to the immersive rider's eye view helmet camera for a truly edge of your seat experience. Which viewpoint will you be using?
Currently, it's a classic case of Milestone pouring all their resources into maximising the bike and rider detail at the expense of environmental detail. Making Ride a cross-platform release for last-gen and current-gen formats is likely to be a factor, but it's still disappointing to see these problems still persist.
Since we still haven't seen any official raw gameplay videos, it's hard to judge the physics at this point. The same goes for the bike audio, since it's once again muted by a rocking soundtrack.
Time will tell if Milestone can polish Ride up by the time it's released, but with the March 20th release date looming, there's not much time left. The fact we're only now seeing gameplay footage of the game with just over a month until release doesn't fill you with confidence.
