There’s good news for those looking forward to Milestone’s upcoming two-wheeled racer Ride 3. The Italian developer has confirmed that a PlayStation 4 playable demo of the much-anticipated title will be available to the public at Gamescom.
The demo will be available to all on August 22-25 at the Bandai Namco Entertainment Booth (Hall 06 | Stand B040). The PlayStation 4 demo will feature the following six tracks: Garda Lake, Brands Hatch Circuit, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Macau, Southern 100 – Billown Circuit, and Autodromo Nazionale di Monza.
Milestone has also confirmed that as many as 35 bikes will be included in the demo which should give those lucky enough to get a hands-on a good idea of the range of bikes on offer in the third installment of Milestone’s original IP.
Ride 3 will feature more than 230 bikes and 12 brand new tracks for a total track count of 30. The racer will also have the usual array bike part customisation options, but also players can alter the look of their bikes thanks to the new livery editor.
Ride 3 will refresh the series with a completely revised career mode centered around “volumes” which tell the story of specific bike categories, manufacturers or tracks. To top it off, Ride 3 also boasts improved AI, new physics, and a revised collision system.
Needless to say, we’re very much looking forward to Ride 3 which launches on November 8 across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms. You can expect lots more on Ride 3 to come.
