News rFactor 2: Nurburgring coming end of Q1 2019

Studio 397 has been busy working on their laser-scanned versions of both the Nurburgring Nordschleife and Nurburgring GP circuits for rFactor 2.
The development team has stated, via their recent roadmap blog entry, that they are aiming for a late Q1 release window (March 2019). Currently, the team is processing the 2018 data which will take a considerable amount of time due to the large nature of the famous Nurburgring track.
Having said that, the track team have already been put to work modelling all the various trackside details such as trees, houses, audiences, camping grounds, and “many other things”.
Studio 397 is even considering options to include the Sudschleife circuit, should they push ahead with it, the layout will be completed as a separate project.
