Slightly Mad Studios has secured the rights to feature Renault and Alpine performance cars in Project CARS.
As part of the new deal, six of the most noteworthy road and racing cars from the French firms – ranging from the humble Renault Sport Clio to a duo of Alpine endurance prototypes will eventually be featured in the racing game.
The full list of licenced cars goes as such:
- 1978 Alpine A442B (pictured, right)
- 1999 Renault Laguna BTTC
- 2009 Renault Megane Trophy II
- 2013 Alpine A450 LMP2
- 2013 Renault Clio RS Cup
- 2014 Renault Megane RS
No estimate release dates were referenced by Slightly Mad Studios in the official statement, though it's expected they'll be added to the closed access Project CARS beta one-by-one in the coming months, with registered WMD members being given exclusive first access to the sextet of Gallic performance cars.
