Reiza Studios have officially announced their successor to Stock Car Extreme, entitled Automobilista Motorsports. The new PC racing sim is expected to arrive exclusively on Steam in Q1 of 2016.
Current owners of, or those who purchase, Stock Car Extreme before January 5, will have free access to Automobilista Motorsports. According to Reiza, you don't actually need to install Stock Car Extreme on Steam but just have it activated to ensure your free copy of Automobilista Motorsports. Automobilista will keep up Reiza Studios' aim to simulate multiple Brazilian racing series such as Stock Car V8, Copa Petrobras de Marcas, Formula 3 Brasil and the Mitsubishi Lancer Cup, the sim will feature every car and every track from their respective 2015 championships according to Reiza Studios.
However the title will not only focus on those Brazilian championships but will also branch out with other disciplines including going from entry level racing karting right up to 800 bhp F1 cars, furthermore you'll have the chance to drift in a Rallycross Evo X, jump ramps in a Supertruck, as well as learning motorsport basics in a Formula Vee and taking on a full 24h race in an endurance prototype.
Automobilista Motorsports comes as a direct consequence of the project presented by Reiza´s successful crowdfunding campaign which kicked off in July 2015. The content was originally intended to be a free and extensive update to Stock Car Extreme but as development has progressed and grown Reiza have since decided to release the content independently.
Automobilista Motorsports is expected to launch for US$ 39.99. You can check out more of the newly released screenshots of Automobilista Motorsports in the gallery below.
