MXGP Pro is the name of Milestone’s upcoming motocross racer which is expected to launch on June 29 across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.

MXGP Pro, as the name hints at, has made a huge step towards realism compared to earlier games in the series. Indeed, Milestone is aiming for MXGP Pro to be the most realistic motocross experience to date thanks to the newly added pro physics.

After the release of MXGP 3 (last year’s officially licensed motocross game from the same developer), Milestone listened to fan feedback and noticed the most common requests were more free and realistic whips; increased air control; ruts that influence how you take corners; and clutch control for super-fast starts.

Fortunately, all these areas listed have been implemented and/or improved in a concentrated effort to bring MXGP Pro well and truly towards the simulation end of the racing spectrum.

In addition, you can expect hard landings when you come up short on a jump, more seat bouncing, and more realistic suspension which together should see a revolution of the series rather than an evolution.

MXGP Pro is an officially licensed title and so you can expect to see all of the official content including tracks, riders (Milestone are keen to point out that every rider will make it into MXGP Pro), sponsors, and more.

MXGP Pro features the familiar friend of the compound: a wide-open training playground which is yours to roam freely at your leisure. The compound is bigger than before and includes different terrain so you can practice on both smooth and rough surfaces before hitting the track for real.

We’ll have more on MXGP Pro shortly, for now, why not take a look at the announcement images in the gallery below.
