The retail release of Project CARS has been pushed back by another two months, developer Slightly Mad Studios has revealed.
Previously slated for launch on April 2nd, the upcoming multi-platform racing title will now be hitting store shelves sometime in mid-May 2015.
No exact date has been cited at time of writing, though Slightly Mad Studios head Ian Bell has stated the postponement is due to the "small issues and bugs" the development team wishes to sort out before launch.
As a form of compensation to the community, Slightly Mad has confirmed it will be giving all players access to free content in the game. This content will be revealed in full "shortly", and – judging by the wording in the statement – doesn't appear to be a repurposed pice of pre-order bonus DLC.
This delay currently applies only to the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of Project CARS. As of yet, Slightly Mad Studios has yet to reveal an official release date for the game on the WiiU.
