News Project CARS Halloween trailer shows scary nighttime Nurburgring racing

The notorious Nurburgring is one of the scariest tracks in the world, a perilous 14 mile course spanning 154 corners that's claimed the lives of many fearless drivers. Add in night time conditions and pouring rain, and the drama is only heightened, as the reduced visibility adds additional challenges.  

That's exactly what this new dramatic Project CARS trailer aims to replicate to celebrate the arrival of Halloween, featuring a souped-up grid of GT3 cars battling it out in a night time Nurburgring race whilst showcasing some particularly dazzling rain effects.

Project CARS's unceremonious delay until March 2015 was undeniably disappointing, particularly for PS4 players now left without any form of racing simulation until then, but we're convinced the wait will be worth it. Not only will it now be released at a time where it won't be up against such stiff competition and thus have a better chance to hold its own, but it will allow the team to fine-tune the handling and apply some extra spit and polish to an already phenomenally pretty game.
