A new mobile spin-off entry in the Project CARS series has been officially announced by Project CARS developer Slightly Mad Studios.
Brought about via a new partnership between Slightly Mad Studios and the Korean mobile game publisher Gameliv, Project CARS GO aims to “deliver an authentic and fun driving experience on mobile”.
Little else is known about Project CARS GO, though it was confirmed the game will feature “a number of licensed cars” and “extensive customisation options” – the latter being an all-new feature for the Project CARS series.
The wording of the official announcement also appears to suggest Slightly Mad Studios will solely develop Project CARS GO, with Gameliv operating as the mobile game’s official distributor.
Details on Project CARS GO’s release window weren’t disclosed in the announcement. More information on the title is expected to be made available in the near future.
