Project CARS has been inundated with a new expansion pack that predominantly focuses on the glory years of vintage grand prix racing.
Included in the 'Classic Team Lotus Track Expansion' are, appropriately, a collection of vintage racing cars from the original Team Lotus catalogue, ranging from the ill-fated Lotus Type 40 sports car to the Lotus 38 that won the 1965 Indy 500.
All players will also be able to download the Lotus 49C Formula One car for free – just in time for the 40th anniversary of F1 legend Graham Hill's tragic death (Hill drove the 49C in his last F1 season as a Lotus driver).
Other additions in this new expansion pack are three historic tracks: 'classic' variations of the fabled Hockenheim and Silverstone circuits are included in the Classic Team Lotus expansion, along with the Rouen-Les-Essarts street circuit.
The Project CARS Classic Team Lotus Track Expansion is available now on the Xbox Games Store and PlayStation Store marketplaces for £6.19. At time of writing, the DLC is not listed on the Steam Store.
