News Project CARS exclusive PS4 gameplay: Racing into the night at Imola

As a showcase of its visual prowess, DriveClub's day/night transitions continue to impress. But guess what? Project CARS can do day/night transitions too, and it doesn't disappoint. 

Indeed, Project CARS accurately simulates the perils of racing with limited visibility as darkness falls: if you want a way to test your knowledge of the circuit, this is it. Suddenly those braking markers you readily relied on are no longer visible. 

Continuing our 60fps coverage of the near final build of Project CARS on PS4, Alan gets behind the wheel of an LMP2 for a race around Imola with the time sped up, resulting in a day/night transition that shows off Project CARS' incredible lighting effects to full effect.

Of course, night racing is commonly associated with the endurance test that is Le Mans, which we'll be looking at in a future video. Project CARS even lets you participate in full 24 hour Le Mans races with a full pack of cars, if you so desire.
