Project CARS will be officially go on sale on May 8th 2015, distributor Bandai Namco has revealed.
Confirmed through the official Bandai Namco UK Twitter account, the release date applies for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, and ties in with previous statements that the title would be launched sometime in mid-May this year.
Given no provisos for other territories were stated in the announcement, it's assumed this means Project CARS will have just the one, worldwide release date (other racing games distributed in recent years by Bandai Namco, such as GRID Autosport, have been given different launch schedules for different territories).
The wording of the tweet (specifically the "we can now guarantee a release date [of May 8th]" part) also suggests that Project CARS shouldn't experience any more delays between now and its launch in the next three weeks.
No concrete release dates for the WiiU version of Project CARS have been revealed by Bandai Namco or developer Slightly Mad Studios at time of writing.
